On Screen Guide? How do I get it?
I use a MCE 2005 remote and I want guide on screen while watching TV (hopefully this makes sense) - is there a way to get that? When I push guide it goes to the snapstream guide with no TV playing...

I'm not sure if programing that remote is like programing the Haup 45 button remote..If it is, open the file called irremote.(txt i think) It will be in the windows directory.. Then in the BTV section change the guide button to I think its m or o.. NOT sure.. There are 2 buttons to pull up guide when watching TV.. When I get home this evening I will check and repost what I find.. Hope this helps you get started in the right direction..

You need to be in 3d mode not overlay in order to see video behind the program guide at the same time. Otherwise the guide will always have a solid background.
Check your playback options in btv.
