Plextor M402U Quality Selection Problem
I cannot seem to get the quality settings genrate recording sizes below about 1.4 gig per hour. Latest Plextor drivers (2.0.2.2). I have the quality setting at DIVX Portable Medium, which should record at about 329mb per hour according to BTV. Reality is 1.4 gig/hour. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for the Plextor support!

Please load the resulting files in an application like VitualDub to get the bitrate of the video and audio. This will help determine what settings the card is using when making a recording.

Virtualdub will not process the file although media player will play it. Imtoo shows a bit rate of 6000. I'm not sure that that makes sense. Any other suggestions for a utility?
