BTV Request: At A Glance Search Tool

I love that on the snapstream.net website, I can view movies/news/documentaries/etc at a glance. However, I cannot do this with the BTV app. Sometimes I'm just looking for a movie to record but have to go through the extra step of searching through the website for movies. It would be really really *really* cool if this could be included in a future release.

Interestingly, I was just thinking about this (again) yesterday. Here were my thoughts:

If the next version of BTV uses the BM interface elements, then the GuideData web services API that BTV already has could be used to build that functionality as a plugin. I love this because I also want a "season pass" feature that could also be a plugin. I also would love to be able to, for example, show all "new" shows in the next week (from another thread around here) or show all "kids" shows in the next week. These are things that Snapstream shouldn't spend their time on. I want them making the core functionality as solid as possible, things like recording shows and playing them back. Plugins can do great things, as BM has already shown. These different ways to view the guide data and shcedule shows are things that plugins could do without taking up Snapstreams time.
