WinXP 64bit - Does it work for BTV / BM

Hi,

I am in the process of prepping for a new HTPC. Bought an AMD64 CPU + mobo. Wondering at this point whether setting up WinXP 64bit edition vs regular XP Professional would buy me any advantages. Not even sure if BTV will work in 64 bit...

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. Regards

Drivers ... there are no 64bit drivers for any tuners or any other associated accessories... don't bother

BTV should work just fine in 32bit emulation (WOW32). What capture card are you planning on using? 64-bit drivers are limited and hauppauge does not seem to have plans for developing any. I would just go with 32bit as BTV runs just great.

Thanks for your valuable input. I use PVR250 to capture and without drivers they would be worthless. I will stick with 32bit for now. Appreciate your help.
