Enter Licence Key in Beyond Link

I installed the trial of Beyond Link, then bought it online, I have a licence key, but can not find where to enter it. I feel pretty stupid, but that's life I guess!

The purchase email should have a link that will register it, if not then just uninstall and reinstall and enter the key during installation

I just purchased BTV Link... and I've been struggling with your question since I read it. Irritated me that I didn't know, so I dug on the knowledge base, and throught the forums... even installed trial on another laptop to see if I could figure it out.

And as far as I can tell, just uninstall and reinstall it... when it asks you if you want the 21 day trial, or if you have the key, select key and enter it.

Seems silly to have to do it that way, but thats the only way I can see too.

When I bought link, it gave me a little file named "btvlink.btvkey". You just have to double-click it and link should open it and do what it has to do...phone home to verify your key and all that good stuff.

I imagine you could create your own file if you just have the number. Just create the above mentioned file. Put your key inbetween these xml tags "<SS-BTVKEY>put you number here</SS-BTVKEY>" That's the only thing in my file.

Actually, if you minimize the Beyond TV screen and look at the menu items, you'll have an UPGRADE option and under that will be ENTER SERIAL.

You can also get to this by accessing the Web Interface by going to http://localhost:8129

basically use regedit to change
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SnapStream Media\Beyond TV\networklicense
to your Key
