BTV Freezes on Splash Screen - How To Do Complete Uninstall?

I have had 3.5.1 working fine for me, but now have apparently installed something that has caused BTV to freeze at the Splash Screen. The tray icon remains yellow, with "Beyond TV is Loadking", but it doesn't go past there.

I've tried to reinstall BTV, the Hauppauge 250 drivers, and even reinstalled XP SP2, with no luck. I want to now try to do a complete clean install of BTV. What do I need to do to erase folders, clean the registry, etc so it is like BTV was never there?

Or if anyonje has other ideas for me to try, I'm all ears. Thanks

Any chance you have a system restore point you can use? Did the trick for me once.-

What I needed to do was do a complete unistall through control panel of both BTV and the 250 card.
Than (do this only if you know what you are doing) go into regedit and get rid of the references to BTV and the 250 card. Pull out the 250 card. Reinstall SP2.

Than put the 250 card in and do not let windows auto install but install the latest drivers.
Than reinstall BTV....

Thanks....I just found it easier to back up my data and completely reinstall Windows. It's now working again, and I'll put Norton GoBack on there so that I can better return to a working state if it happens again.
