Hauppauge PVR150 IR Blaster Question

Hi,

I am just about to order a PVR 150 so i can set up recordings from my sky box. The question is will BTV control the digibox through the IR Blaster provided with the Hauppauge kit without using a remote control? PAce recievers are on the supported list - But since i wont be home most of the day i want it to be able to change the channel automatically.

Is this possible or do i need some thrid party hardware like the USB-UIrt or the Red Eye serial? I dont want to spend more money if i dont have to.

I use the included IR Blaster with my Voom STB (made be Motorola). BTV will use the IR Blaster as long as you first set it up with the blaste config software from hauppauge's site.
