Background noise
I've searched the forum on the subject and someone suggested turning off any 'unecessary' parts of the sound card. I working with the setup wizard, I found that I could disable the Wave part and enable the usual input for the sound (line in, in this case), the background hum/noise went away.
 Only one problem, now the audio is delayed several seconds when watching TV (recording the SB, we'll see what happens there). Any thoughts? Thanks.
