eHome wonder and XP

Can anyone confirm that the ATI eHome Wonder works with Windows XP PRO? (not media center edition?) I was able to install the drivers after editing out a line in the install.ini file - just to test. I don't actually own a card yet but I want to know if it does in fact work with Beyond TV 3.51 and Windows XP PRO.

Thanks

According to our testers, yes, it works with BTV 3.5.1

Re: eHome wonder and XP

I have the ehome wonder as well as a PVR250 installed in the same XP Pro system. I did have some driver issues early on. XP kept using the ATI drivers for the 250, I would see 2 entries for the ati card in device manager. I'm not sure what cured it but it has been working great since the summer. I cannot tell the difference between recording made on the two card.

Re: eHome wonder and XP

Hi I got the eHome Wonder and installed it and it worked fine--until I rebooted.
Now Beyond TV didn't start the live TV - something about failing to attach to live TV graph (in the setup wizard).
I tried newer drivers from Dell - which installed - but still no luck after 1 reboot.

Did another reboot and now it is working! Weird!

PS - is there any way to look at the program guide and still watch live TV at the same time? Eg, the guide could show up in a different window.

Thanks! BTV is awesome!

Re: eHome wonder and XP

The way to do this is to set video render to 3d accelerated in the menu...

Settings-Playback Settings-Video Render

The guide data will then be transparent and you will be able to watch the show beneath it.

There is a video card requirement for this to work.
