Web Admin workaround - maybe!

I 've read a number of threads in which the user has lost Web Admin access.
I have a fairly simple and easy workaround that has worked for me.
Try the Firefox browser.

More detail:
The error I get from Explorer 6.0 is:
"The page caznnot be displayed....HTTP 500 - Internal server error - Internet Explorer"

I have been using Firefox on my other machines so I gave it a shot on the HTPC - which until this moment was running IE6....and the nice Web Admin interface came right up. I navigated through the interface and everything I touched seems to work...and I now have functional use of BeyondTV

So try it, and good luck.

Re: Web Admin workaround - maybe!

That might work in some instances... however a few of the other issues -- the browser won't make a difference...

You may have a virus or adware infecting IE, try a virus and adware scan.

the machine is clean,
McAfee AV scanner is up to date, did a complete scan, just in case - its clean.

in any case I am happy I have Web Admin back.
