So i can't get Beyond TV 3.5.1 to work...sad, but I was wondering if anyone has suggestions of what else i should try; WinTV won't work; not sure why.

Re: Not Btv

Are you referring to http://forums.snapstream.com/vb/show...608#post130608 ?

If so, and if you're really into BTV - then get a new capture card.

Re: Not Btv

I think your PC is not powerful enought for a software encode/decode simultaneously, which is how BTV works. You need at least a 2GHz processor, or a hardware encoder.

Re: Not Btv

Besides I don't know of any other software like BTV that works with software encoders . Your better off with another card (even a cheap PVR-150)

Re: Not Btv

If you are still game to try out BTV -- try using these drivers: http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/

See if that makes a difference... IT should work OK for what you are trying to do... judging by the specs you presented...

I would also try adjusting the encoder and decoder settings as well to tweak the system...

Let me know if you want to go forward with further testing.
