Which is best card
Perhaps some of you NVIDIA gurus can help.
I have a circa 1997 computer running BTV Link. It currently has the original NVIDIA card, a GeForce 2 Ultra. Could better performance be achieved by swapping it with a GeForce4 MX, of 2003 vintage? The former was probably better quality at the time; the latter was a mainstream card in a Dell. BTV Link drags the CPU to 60%. Could accelleration be exprected if I swap? Any assistance is appreciated. Regards, MJC |
