Setup Wizard - Graph failure

I've sent this to support, but considering the posts I've seen, I guess it's no telling how long I'll have to wait for a response. Sooo...perhaps one of you knows what's wrong, or what to try.

I have a PVR-250BTV. I can't get thru the Setup Wizard successfully. When BTV tests my setup, the test always fails. I get an error popup window telling me that either my cable is disconnected, or that I'm tuned to an invalid channel. I've switched the cable back to my TV, and my TV works just fine. I've set the channel to test to one I know is good. (And I've also fixed my channel lineup to be correct.)

AMCAP gets me video. I can change channels. Looks good. Although I get no audio. I'm using headphones, so perhaps I've plugged things up incorrectly. (Although...I don't *think* so.)

So far, except for AMCAP, nothing I've tried seems to work.

FWIW - BTV can and does start, by the way.

The drivers for the card, on the CD that came with it, wouldn't install. So I downloaded drivers from the SS website. They installed without difficulty.

BTV 3.5.1 I *did* install from the CD. It appeared to go without incident.

Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Tom

Re: Setup Wizard - Graph failure

check your log files
normally they hide under:
c:\docs & settings\all users\app data\snapstream\beyondtv
and see if they have any overwhelming reasons for it not working right

only programs designed to work specifically with the 250btv are going to get audio from it, all standard capture software will just get video.

if its failing to build a graph that is a good indicator that either the installation of beyondtv is corrupted or theres something on the system thats not letting btv talk with the card correctly
