Block undesireable channels

I have BeyondTV and I am considering buying BTV Link. My question is can I block the movie channels on the Link side, but still allow them on the main unit? I don't want my kid watching HBO without me knowing about it. And when I say block I mean truely block, don't even allow typing in the channel number in LiveTV.

There are currently no parental controls in BTV.

HBO requires a cable/sat box. Does your box have parental controls? I'm guessing yes. If so, just use the box's parental controls. Depending on what remote you use, it may require you to use the cable/sat remote, but at least you know its secure. If the kids tune to the channel, they will need to use a remote on the box itself to unlock the channel.

Now if BTV would only include parental controls on individual folders...

Actually, I have Insight cable and there are 2 channels of HBO and 1 of Showtime that do not require a cable box. This is a really nice feature, usually.
