Arrow Memory Size

What do you guys think a perfect memory size would be for BTV ?

I'm on 512MB at the moment...

Re: Memory Size

I've never seen it using more than around 100MB, IIRC.

Re: Memory Size

I have BTV running on my old "super" PC. It has 1.5 GB of RAM and I rarely see it rise above 500 MB.

It feels ok!

My HTPC has a lot on it and many startup items (although cut down to minimum). I just thought another 256MB may give it more room to breath ?

Not really a serious issue, just wondering...

What do you guys think...

Re: Memory Size

hit ctrl-alt-del and look at the performance tab yourself. Nobody can answer it better than you. Then take a look at the processes tab and see for yourself how much of that total is actually being used by btv. Not much.
