Showsqueze Problem!
I'm having a small (?) problem with ShowSqueze...
When asking to ShowSqueze a file it ALWAYS re-encodes it to WMV and not a reduced-sized MPEG2, even when using 'keep same' ???? Oh, btw, Kiss' DP-600 plays DVD, Xvid, DivX (3,4 & 5), and WMV9. Take a look... Thanks.....

mpeg2 can't be shrunk and stay mpeg2 (unless you just take out the commercials). If you want to shrink it you will wind up with something like dvix, or mpeg4 or wmv. Showsqueeze shrinks the mpeg2 file by converting it to wmv. There are other programs that will convert to dvix and maybe mpeg4 (not sure if those are out yet.)

You can use another program like ashampoos movie something. I downloaded it, and it'll make you anything from anything. It works very good, and i have been able to reshrink mpegs for my palm to play with mmplayer

Yeah guys, already have the tools to do that - i've been doing that for years now!
Why have the option to 'keep same' then? If it always converts to WMV ? just wondering... Thanks for replying anyway...............
