Question Newbie Question, probably..

Forgive my ignorance, but I did check the software page 1st..

Is it possible to burn the recorded shows to a DVD once they are recorded to my hard drive using BeyondTV software? One that would work on my home DVD player or on my laptop?

Re: Newbie Question, probably..

Any recording that you make using Beyond TV CAN be later burned on CD/DVD, moved to another drive, etc. Its an MPEG file, so you can do practically anything to it, and with it.

Just in case: You can't use Beyond TV as your burning software, but once you record your show, you can use your favorite CD/DVD burning software to do it.

Thanks for the quick reply, much appreciated.. Still trying to decide between MCE or BeyondTV, not sure yet. Also, on which Tuner card.. So many choices.. So many choices.. Just not sure what to do.

Any other pointers to give out? Definitely appreciated if there are. TIA

Re: Newbie Question, probably..

I would strongly, strongly suggest a hardware tuner card for use with BTV. The PVR-250 has been the most popular in the past. I have also heard good things of the PVR-150.
