BTV Request...

First off, I'm excited about Beyond TV and it's features. (Bought it last night)

I was thinking about a couple of things and thought I would write this idea. Please excuse me if someone else made this request already.

I'm a DirecTV customer and I don't have (nor do I really care for) a home phone line. All of my business is done via cell phones, or broadband internet connections.
Whenever I want to watch a pay-per-view movie on DirecTV, I have to log into the DirecTV website and select the movie and time I want to watch.

How possible would it be for Beyond TV to link through DirecTV to select and watch pay-per-view events?? I can only assume DirecTV would welcome something like this.

More and more people are dropping their home phone services and replacing them with cell phones. I would think DirecTV would like to be able to cater to these people.

If I recall someone has developed a PPV importer for DirecTV - not sure if it is BTV 3.5 compatible yet - search the forums for 'ppv import' As with your idea, that plugin could be extended to support the order process. Hopefully, the developer of that utility can give you all the details on where that effort is at. Have fun with your setup!
