Suggestions on BTV System

I am trying to put together a system for my family for Christmas. I am going to reuse a bunch of parts that I already have. Please let me know if my expectations are reasonable with the system I am describing.

I want the system to do the following:
1) Display User Interface to Users on channel 99 on all TVs in my house
2) Allow control of system using a Remote control from any room (1 remote)
3) Record up to 2 programs at the same time
4) Burn DVDs of recorded programs on my DVD-RW using the remote from any room (assuming a blank in drive)
5) Play DVD on System and watch on any TV
6) View JPG photos on TV
7) In general I want it to be like TIVO with there upcoming new features, only better.

The System Components:
a) Beyond TV
b) P4 1.7
c) 1GB Memory
d) 60 GB Main Drive
e) 160 GB Data Drive for Videos, Photos, and MP3s
f) ATI 6800 AIW (Use as primary tuner and TV out)
g) ATI Remote Control from AIW kit for controlling system
h) (New Purchase) NetMedia MM70 TV Modulator (To distribute the TV signal on channel 99)
i) 4X DVD-RW
j) DVD Player
k) Windows XP
l) On-board audio
m) Pinnacle Studio (For DVD authoring) I can return this if necessary and get something else since I haven't opened it yet.

Forgot to mention that I also have a Pinnacle PCTV card which would be my secondary tuner card.
