3.5.1 Available - What's New?

I just downloaded and installed 3.5.1, but I haven't been able to find out what's new/fixed. Does anyone have this information?

Everything seems to be running fine for me, but I haven't had any real problems since I diid a complete system rebuild last week... plus I have some recording coming up soon so I don't want to mess around with it too much .

Re: 3.5.1 Available - What's New?

I posted two minutes earlier in the user support forum, since it's only a bugfix release

But, tomorrow or so, I'd hope to see some sort of shortlist. On the other hand, why should they admitt all the stuff, they had to address, so they might only contact people who bothered to actually report the isssue vs. just bitching about them (meo).

*cough* release notes *cough* are *cough* your friend...

It mentions the main points, but a little optimization here and there was done as well.

Re: 3.5.1 Available - What's New?

Interesting. according to this review

http://www.htpcnews.com/main.php?id=beyondtv_1

THESE are the changes!

The Changes for Beyond TV 3.5.1

The biggest changes that aren't really listed are numerous bugs that have been documented since the release of 3.5, I can attest to the fact that I had few crashes / problems with 3.5, however 3.5.1 just "seems" to run better. I assume this is due to the fixes they put into place. Anyways, here's a list of changes for 3.5.1:

- New Trial Period
- Better Beyond Media Integration
- Support for the Hauppauge PVR150
- Support for the Hauppauge PVR150 IR Blaster
- Support for the Hauppauge PVR150 Remote Control
- Support for the ADS Remote Control and IR Blaster
- Disconnected Mapped drives at startup don’t get removed from Library
- Max # of shows works with Showsqueezed shows
- Added MCE remote to setup wizard
- Showsqueezing items to mapped drives will correctly read META data
- Setup Wizard now pauses long between channel changes during IR Blaster test
- Guide Updater optimizations (No more failed updates)
- Command line parameters are now case insensitive
- command line parameters will now wake BTV up from screen saver state
- Added first version of OEM support.
- Added support for WebUI source
- Fixed the bug between link and server that was causing a random hiccup in remote playback.

Re: 3.5.1 Available - What's New?

Many thanks for that. A bit annoying that you have to go to a 3rd party review to find out that MCE remote is supported.

As I have posted in the firefly section the bit putting me off the plunge is the absence of being able to buy firefly here in the UK, without having to import.

Now at least I can try the MCE remote without having to take the plunge and buy MCE 2005 OEM.

Can someone elaborate on "* Support for Beyond Media"? I don't see any change at all...

Re: 3.5.1 Available - What's New?

There was a strange problem with BTV not minimizing, I think that's what they ment. Those changes posted from htpcnews were for the prebeta 1884, the changes posted on snapstream were specifically related to the 1894 release.
