Capture Card Locking?

Does BTV lock the capture card at any time (recording, live tv, viewscape, etc?) and prevent other programs accessing it?

I am going to run an image from a CCTV camera into the tuner card so I can watch it by going to live tv. At the same time, another program will be running which also uses the same tuner card to grab still images.

Is there going to be a conflict?

Yeah, whenever btv is showing live tv or recording you will not be able to access the card from another program.
