BTV 3.5 AIW and PVR-250 Sound Problems

Hi

I have a PVR-250 and ATI AIW 9600 in my system using BTV 3.5. My problems is if I am watching a show on Live TV using the PVR-250 and BTV starts a recording with the AIW 9600, the sound from the show the AIW is recording turns on and mixes with the sound from the show I'm watching making the show on Live TV unwatchable. Is there a way to make the other audio input quiet when its recording. The AIW is using the CD internal input connector on the motherboard of my Shuttle SN41G2 since the Line In on the back is being used for the 5.1 speakers. The PVR and the AIW also seems to have 2 completley different volume levels in the viewscape. For the same BTV onscreen volume display one input is much louder than the other. Any ideas.

Thanks
