PQ was good, now is not good

I have

250 Card - Set as first capture device
- When first installed had the black and white vertical line problem and downloaded the updated drivers per the BTV FAQ page, this was about 3 weeks ago, don't know if they have been updated again.

AIW9800 Card - set at second capture device

Using default encoder

Using the Intervideo for Hauppauge Decoder
Hardware de-interlacing
3d Accelerated

Viewing on a 50 inch Samsung via DVI

When I first set up 3.5, I was happy with the live tv and recorded tv quality. Really couldn't tell the difference between the antenna feed to the Samsung and BTV. Wife could tell the difference from antenna or ReplayTv - the real test.

In the past week, the recordings have been horrible, with jitter all over the place, and watching live tv now has jitter as well. Its borderline unwatchable.

I have been playing with decoders and video qualities and its a bit overwhelming and honestly, I have made no progress.

Does anyone have any suggestions or can someone post how they have their system set up so we can compare configurations?

Overlay rendering is recommended for good picture quality. 3D acceleration is an option that you should only enable if you can get good picture quality with it...which it seems you can't. Also, mixing software and hardware encoders is not supported and may lead to 3d accelerated rendering being enabled because of limitations on the All-In-Wonder. Try disabling the All-In-Wonder and using overlay rendering.
