30 second delay each half hour.
My setup video totally freezes up (the audio is fine) every 1/2 hour on the 1/2 hour. This occures ever since I got my 2nd hardware tuner up and running. I use to notice the same issue 2-3 times a day back when I was using one hardware tuner, but now it is every time a new recording starts. While it's allocating hard drive space or whatever (red HDD light solid for 30-seconds), snapstream is compleatly locked up. One escape will make the noise, but after that, key presses and noises sre "cached" until the harddrive light starts blinking again (at which point they are performed at super-speed). Video playback stops but the audio works fine (even after the escape beep). The rest of windows works fine (you can press the Start menu key and use other apps on top of a "frozen" BTV background).
Here are my 2 tuners: Adaptech Media Center USB2 - Motorola box with serial cable Pinnicle PCTV Deluxe USB2 - Motorola box by ActiSys IR Blaster (Both use the same line up)

Re: 30 second delay each half hour.
Oh, and also, the PCTV Deluxe is the new one. The Adaptec one was my only tuner until recently. I have a seperate issue with my Adaptec, but first some background on it:
It has a power button on it. Normally when you press the power button the green LED goes off and Windows make the USB disconnect sound. When you press the powerbutton again, the orange LED lights up, then Windows makes the USB connect sound, and then the LED turns green. Also the green LED blinks when ever it is recording. Ok... here's the problem: About once ever 3 days or so (but it does vary to as little as 12 hours and as long as about 1 1/2 weeks) it will stop working. The green LED is always solid and BTV reports an error starting tuner. If you press the power button (or unplug the power or USB plug) and then turn it back on, the LED will turn yellow and will never go green. Also, Windows will not make either USB pluged/unplugged sound even the first time to pull the USB cord. The only way to fix it is to reboot. Logging out and back in again wont even fix it. It's like the drivers are locked up or something.
