"Mouse pad" not working on ATI after 3.5 upgrade and ATI reinstall

I just upgraded to 3.5 (do love the new sorting of recordings!) and had to reinstall my ATI Remote Wonder.

Now, the mouse buttons (directional pad, l/r buttons) are not working... neither in BTV nor in Windows. All other buttons are working. (PS. I'm using Girder.)

Any ideas why not?
Thanks!

Re: "Mouse pad" not working on ATI after 3.5 upgrade and ATI reinstall

My problem with the ati remote and snapstream is that now all of a sudden, I get doubleclicks in various areas. I have not reinstalled the ati software this time. I also use girder now as a fix.

I would get doubleclicks when watching livetv with the remote. I also get doubleclicks when changing properties of the ati remote, go figure. This happens when snapstream is running or not, did not have this problem befor e3.5 or the betas.

What I did was turn off the btv plugin, then programmed all the buttons using girder. I also programmed left and right click in girder, did not have to change the pad.

The result, single clicks most places, tripleclicks when viewing shows or changing properties of ATI. Eitherway, the clicks don't cancel out. It is irritating but livable.

Haven't checked ATI's site for a new release, happened with the older releases too but inly with btv 3.5. Snapstream stated they had no intention to fix this, which pisses me off, but what can you do?

Re: "Mouse pad" not working on ATI after 3.5 upgrade and ATI reinstall

Im using ATI Remote Wonder with 3.5 and have no problems. I use actisys IR Blaster, and only have occasional problems with channel changing. Software I use is HE Remote. Seems to work pretty well.

I think I did reinstall the ATI RW after installing 3.5 though.
