Problems with overlays on TV

I have and ATI TV Wonder Pro with the trial version of Beyond TV. I try to use my TV (via s-video out from my geforce fx5200) set to 800 x 600. The menus look great, but when i watch live tv with the overlays on, the screen becomes too big for the TV and it cuts off on the edges. When i change the overlays to hardwar assisted, it fits the TV, but is too taxing on my machines and goes slowly. Is there anyway to use the overlays without it being too big? -NEL
