Top Three Items
What are the top three items, hardware or software, that would most affect the quality of the video that you view and/or record.
Assuming that BTV3's settings are all set to HIGHEST quality. I am also assuming that VIDEO CARD would be #1. TOP THREE THINGS THAT AFFECT QUALITY OF VIDEO 1. VIDEO CARD 2. ??? 3. ???

FWIW.
1/ Clean video input source. 2/ Low cpu during capture -> ie pvr250 or similar capture card for stable captures 3/ high bitrate. and 4/ a reasonable display.

TOP OF THE FOOD CHAIN
YOUR TV For highest results use a NTSC calibrated broadcast monitor, check out panasonic business products for more details Keep in mind you can have a great recording but with a lower level TV output you will not see the quality. just my .02c
