Streaming to Media Player with 3.4
Hi folks,
I remember a long time ago someone here posted how to watch a LiveTV stream over the internet in Windows Media Player. The procedure went something like: 1) Log in to BTV using the Web interface 2) Click "Watch Live TV" .. wait for the stream to start in the embedded WMP on the Watch Live TV page. 3) Click "Stop" on the embedded player. 4) Launch WMP from the desktop and Open a URL something like: mmc://my.BTVserver.com:8080 Does anyone remember if I have that right? Am I close? I know I've got this to work before. EverLAN |

Re: Streaming to Media Player with 3.4
Doh! I must be still asleep or something.
Right-clicking on the embedded player and clicking "Properties" reveals the stream URL to be: mms://my.BTVserver.com:8080. Works like a charm. |
