LINK password
I have security enabled in BTV which is required because BTV is accessed from the Internet when I am traveling. However this forces my local LINK HTPC to request a password (which is not a desired).
Is there a way to place the password in a LINK shortcut in a fashion similiar to entering in the preferred BTV server PC/IP? If not please make this a feature request for future versions.

I believe you can run the client with /password:[passwordHERE].
I am not 100% sure if that is the formatting, perhaps someone else knows for sure... -Brett

Has anyone figured this out? It's still not working for me. Here are the configs I've tried.
Security disabled: /networkclient:192.168.1.3 In this config BTV Link automatically connects to the desired server. Security enabled: /networkclient:192.168.1.3 BTV Link brings up the list of available servers. I would expect it to connect and ask for a password, but it does not. Security enabled: /networkclient:192.168.1.3 /password:******** BTV Link again brings up the list of servers and doesn't connect. I've tried a few other variations, but it appears like it won't even connect to the server if password is enabled, even to prompt for a password.

This didn't work for me in 4.7.1 on a desktop shortcut until I used all 3 parameters below.
"C:\Program Files\SnapStream Media\Beyond TV Link\BTVD3DShell.exe" /networkclient:PCName /networkclientpassword:XXXXX /networkclientport:8129
