No Auto Program guide update

I used the task scheduler to automatically update the program guide for 3.4 but when I installed 3.5 it longer works. The command line for 3.4 was http://localhost:8129/settings.cgi?m...freshssnetdata

Could anyone tell me either what to change in the command line for 3.5 OR what to do to get 3.5 to auto update without using task scheduler - (I have auto update enabled and am using XP with service pack2 with the firewall on. Am connected to internet at home through a router) I tried it with the firewall off but it didn't help. Maybe the router is blocking the update? I can manually update using the 3.5 menu without any problems.

Do you have any errors in the log indicating that BTV is trying, but failing to update the guide ?

BeyondTV 3.5 was supposed to correct the non-updating guide issues, I would suggest that you fully remove 3.4 before installing 3.5 if you were having to manually update the guide and then reinstalling 3.5 making sure to run the setup wizard so that it properly identifies your account on the .net servers.

Thanks for the responses - Seems like the updater is working now. I checked the log and it updates after midnite every nite - says it takes about 16 seconds to download and 15 minutes to process - I guess thats normal? This is the first time it has every started working - since its doing it in the background, it really doesn't matter how long it takes...
