Angry Difference in Beta 1774 and Full Release

As you all know you are suppose to uninstall the old version of your BTV to install a new version. Doing this looses ALL of you changes and recording setups. Does anybody know if the Full Product Release is any different from the 1774 beta or is there anywhere on the Snapstream website to find the status of all problems. The beta site did this but now they have taken that down for BTV. The problems are still there! They need to fix this thing to allow a simple upgrade like most software. Thanks in advance for your help.

I didn't uninstall, but just did an upgrade install. Thought I would try it first as one can always un-install and re-install afterwards. No problems at all.

I just backup the CFGs I care about before uninstalling.

Re: Difference in Beta 1774 and Full Release

I just did the upgrade from 3.4.4 to 3.5 with all settings transfering properly.

Just for safekeeping, copy your "c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\snapstream" folder to safe place- this is where all your settings and configs live.
