BTV and a Microsoft MCE remote / IR blaster?
Hi Everyone,
I've got a home built box running Windows XP XP Pro, and I want to run Beyond TV 3.5 on it. A while back, I bought a Microsoft MCE remote and IR blaster from NewEgg, and I was wondering if anyone has succesfully used the Microsoft IR Blaster with BTV. Or for that matter, has anyone used the M$ remote with BTV? I'm looking for the fastest and cheapest way to get started with BTV, and since I already have a blaster and remote, it'd be great if I could use them, instead of buying a new blaster and a new Firefly. Just in case anyone asks, here are my system specs: P4 2.8ghz, 1024m RAM, Win-PVR 250, 300gig HD, external Moterola digital cable box (hence the need for an IR Blaster). Any thoughts? Thanks!
