For instance-Let's say you have your digital cable box that gets/decodes all your Premimum channels on one tuner and you just have your analog cable attached to another. That way SageTV knows when you choose your HBO channel it needs to use your tuner attached to your cable box and when you just pick a basic channel or local channel it knows to use the other tuner. Make sense?

I have BTV3 and a single PVR250(plan to add another soon). Is it possible to configure BTV3 as stated above?

I basically will have 1 tuner card for the basic cable(cable straight into the PVR250) and 1-250 for the premium channels(cable out from the digital cable box to the 250)

Re: dual tuner question

Yes... 3.5 does this seemlessly.

I've got two pvr 250s and a leadtek expert. The first 250 is svideo from digital with all the channels available, second 250 is analogue and analogue expert.

I did not want ONLY the premium channels, so my linup includes all the channels for the digital box. This way a new recording is always the best quality from digital, when 2 or 3 shows need to be recorded they are analogue.

Re: dual tuner question

Wheemer: Thanks for the reply.

I guess I just need to wait for my mainboard RMA and BTV3.5.

Thanks for the info!

Sean
