Question about the PVR 250

I was wondering if the PVR-250 can hook up to my sound card internally, or if I have to use and external sound cable to line-in.
I have a 5.1 surround sound speaker system and line-in is shared with subwoofer/center. Obviously I don't want to downgrade my speakers.

I was also wondering if it would be better to just get the PVR-350. I'm not sure what makes it better.
Also, Why shouldn't I just get the PVR-350 without Beyond-TV.
It looks like it has the same features.

there is no connection to the sound card at all with the pvr 250/350, they capture sound in the hardware chip.

350's svideo output doesn't work with btv. So get the 250.

The hauppauge software that comes with the card is a POS, trust me. But you can try the demo of btv once your get the tuner.
