BTV Client UPnP compliant?

I recently purchased a Dlink DM320 as a "client" for my BTV instance which has extended my HTPC to one other room.

This has been moderately succesfull (some codec upgrades have been a pest and a couple of odd quirks with the UPnp Server) and as far as cost goes only $300 Aus or approx $200 us for a complete hardware client (Ie no pc needed except the btv server).

My questions are,

1. Is the btv client UPnP Compliant ?
2. Do I look at continuing with the UPnP compliant gear?

Re: BTV Client UPnP compliant?

Not EXACTLY sure I under UPnP, but there is something out there for BeyondTV to make it a "UPnP Media Server". I also believe that the Link runs on the UPnP ports, but I am not 100% positive.
