Hardcoding a channel

Just got wind of this and thought I'd give it a whirl. I have a dishnetwork dual receiver (it controls 2 tv's at once) and my end broadcasts on Channel 60 through a cable feed to my TV. The only way I can get Channel 60 listed is to tell the thing I live in San Mateo, CA (I live in Dallas, TX).

Any ideas on another workaround to get 60 to show up without lying to the thing?
thanx

Re: Hardcoding a channel

Not sure I understand your question: Your sat receiver's output is set to Channel 60?
If that's the question then you can use web admin settings video input to set the channel your TV card tunes in to be fixed and use the IR transmitter to switch channel on the sat receiver.
