CPU Usage

Recently I have been having problems with Beyond TV. Whenever I start it, my cpu usage instantly jumps to 100% and stays there. The program keeps freezing, then works again for a few seconds, then freezes again. I believe that is has to do with the program guide updater. I cant figure out why this is happening. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks

Have a look at your processes and see which one is using the cpu.
You could have a showsqueeze job that never ends...

Speaking of CPU Usage, is it normal for 10-13% usage while BTV is in the taskbar with no recordings or squeezes going on? My processes show 0% usage but the graph shows a constant 10-13% until I shutdown BTV.

I had the same problem until I looked into it and I figured out what it was, at least in my configuration. It's the setting that makes BTV start recording Live TV as soon as you start the app so that you can rewind Live Tv. Go into Settings -> Recording Settings and disable the Always Timeshifting option. It worked just fine for me, I hope it works for you guys.
