Gateway Hauppauge OEM WinTV-PVR-250 TV Tuner Card

Has anyone bought one of these PVR-250's on ebay (90)+10 shopping without remote and has working ??
It doesnt come with a remote but I have an RF one already... be great to hear someone using one. Thanks.

I bought one but have not got it working yet, I hope to get a chance to mess with it this evening.

I was not having a problem, just had not tried to install it yet.

I have it installed and working now (and its great).

The only snag that I had was the windows xp hardware update wizard did not detect the drivers as being for this device. What I mean is I ran the hardware update wizard (I think that’s what it is called) and pointed it to the folder where I had unzipped the drivers but it just said that there were no drivers for this device found.

Anyways, I ended up doing the ‘I will choose the driver I wish to install’ and it worked fine.

I selected “Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II (Encoder)" from the list, just so you know.

I bought one a couple of months back... it works great for me. I had absolutely no problem with install/config at all. I have Win2k sp2, btw.
