have you installed directx 9 and updated your nvidia drivers?

you may want to check if you have a hardware conflict with another device in the system.

No I have the latest nvidia, windows media player, directx9, did not have any issues with dxdiag either.

Now strangely enough I uninstalled the beta and reinstalled the release version and everything is working. I will restart my machine this evening and see if the problem reappears.

yes,
i rebooted the machine and the error is back. I have now reformated and reinstalled winxp twice and snapstream just does not work. I keep getting these damn FIFO errors, can someone please tell me what module in Snapstream or what part of my OS is causing snapstream to give this error in the debug log?

one might belive that from the message:
NV: NVDX: Channel Error: "FIFO error: parse error"(6) on channel 1.

since it doesnt have a number infront of it (pid) it is a kernal module and since it starts with NV i would put to bet that it is your nvidia video card, it is not coming from snapstream it is something wrong with either your drivers/hardware config, or the card itself.
