I moved it, and it is more than likely a directx issue that is preventing the screen saver (or some bit of code inside snapstream to prevent problems with certain capture/video card combos)
Back in the early ss days they introduced some bits of code to make the machine wake from sleep and boot the screen saver so that ati AIW and other combo cards could do a recording, my guess is that bit of code is still in there and is what is preventing it, although if I leave any of my directx games running the screen saver never kicks in it will just kick off the power management (it doesnt even boot back to the logon screen like it is supposed to)
