when you open the video list snapstream attempts to update the xml file that stores the listing of the video (xml file holds time, played settings, descriptions, etc) and this can be quite time consuming if you have a good amount of video files, if you create other sub folders and add them as new stores (like one folder for each tv show) and then move them in to their own folder or have snapstream record directly to those folders. that will reduce the load time because it isnt generating one huge list but a bunch of smaller lists. on my 800 mhz box I have 191 files in like 9 different folders and it takes about 3-4 seconds to bring up the video listing
