WTLPVAPP.exe hangs when finished recording

Whenever a recording completes, SS hangs until I go into task manager and end task on WTLPVAPP.exe. As far as I can tell, this occurs after the file has been outputed, because I am able to manually access the mpg/wmv file and play it.

Here is my log:

Snapstream 3.0 beta 3 was the last version of Snapstream 3.0 that I was able to run correctly with the above setup.

do you have any other processes running on the machine that consume cpu time (like seti@home or other distributed clients)? Also programs like tmpgenc, virtualdub, and other video editing programs that consume a lot of cpu will also cause the repeditive "Dispatcher stopped the recording: the recording has completed." messages.

also if you are going to use windows media format to do recordings you should turn off the allways time shifting settings, in the web admin

My cpu util is between 0 and 2% when my machine is idle (without pvs running.) Aside from my mail notify program and anti-virus, I have nothing else running.

I also verified time shifting was shut off. The problem I'm having can also be duplicated when recording to MPEG.

This started happening to me with the 3.2 RC.

3.1 worked perfectly. On my computer nothing is running at all except PVS. I use my recording computer just for PVS.

I reverted back to 3.1 until it is fixed. It seems it might be related to proc speed because I have nothing else happening on the computer but recording.

What are your computer specs btw.

Where can I download an older version of 3.0?

I was going to install beta 3 of 3.0, but I no longer have the cd key and the only version I could find on this site was 3.2.

Does anyone know if this was fixed in final 3.2 release. I didn't see any release notes.

Could someone at SS please send me a link for SS3.0 or 3.1? Until my problem with 3.2 gets resolved, I'm not able to record anything. I've sent an email to orders@snapstream.com and support@snapstream.com with this request, but have not heard back.

I don't know if this is related or not, but my SS 3.2 is locking up every so often when making a recording ONLY when using MPEG2 as the encoder, it seems. (No problems yet with WMV)

It reduces my screen colour depth and gives a warning/error box. Here is what SS dumps to a file:
