Why can't I encode mpeg to WMV?

Has anyone try to encode mpeg recording from SS3(3.1) to wmv using Windows Media Encoder Series 9? I tried and I kept getting this error: "Cannot allocate memory because no size has been set" , any idea?

Try using the transcode options in Snapstream.

We support WM9 codecs.

Forgive me, but what is the "transcode" options and how can I get to them? I did a search on the help file and nothing came up on "transcode"...

In the Web Admin go to the watch screen.

Right click on the show you want to transcode and pick "Recompress"

Choose your Target Quality (or create one under Configure->Advanced->Quality)

And submit. You can check on the transcode job under the Video Recompression.
