We Demand Some Info About 5.0!

Everyone who wants some answers reply to this and keep it at the top. We need Snapstream to talk to there customers. WE WANT ANSWERS!!!!

There are plenty of alternatives out there I am thinking of getting. Better shed some info or This customer will be gone for good.

EDIT

I know a little harsh, But still. I have been wanting to buy the BeyondTv Link for 3 months now but I don't want to get screwed when they go to 5. Because then the link probably won't work. I just want some info!

EDIT AGAIN!!!!!

The future of Beyond TV and SnapStream

Looks like Snapstream is never going to put out anything like a Beyond TV 5. From the sound of it there will be no more updates, just minor fixes to make things better for there enterprise customers. No wonder there has been no updates for a while, and no information. They don't care if they loose customers because they are not catering to customers anymore, just enterprise.

Re: We Demand Some Info About 5.0!

Most people have been commenting that BTv works fine with 32bit (I tried it and no issues, although the arcsoft decoder does not have H.264 hardware acceleration, although this is not only btv) and 64 is not officially supported in W7 or vista. What else are you looking for? If something doesn't work with W7 file a support ticket.

This here forum is "User-to-User." As a user I can state that I have no information on 5.0.

Re: We Demand Some Info About 5.0!

I have to say I don't get this topic. If they say the version is 5.0, then what? What if I want 666?

Re: We Demand Some Info About 5.0!

How about getting at least an update from this thread made back in July?

Vista Service Pack 2

They acknowledged a bug and then silence...

Its been only 2 days but still. I have actually solved everything that I sent them because it takes so long for a response, but now I have 2 more issues of my
Hauppauge remote not responding every time I reboot the computer with Beyond tv only to be fixed by running setup again, and also It will not start beyond tv at system start even when it is set too.

Re: We Demand Some Info About 5.0!

5.0 or whatever i just want some updates, compatibility fixes, new features. If SS isnt going to be working on anything new then let the community know so we can switch over to some new software that will be getting paid attention to and updated on a regular basis.

I think that most people on this forum would love to see SOME sort of information about the future of BTV.

Re: We Demand Some Info About 5.0!

I'm beginning to that that thread should be pulled out of the Beta forum and plastered up in the Announcements. It's not easily found where it's at.
