Showsqueeze and crop 4:3 to 16:9
I have been using BeyondTV for quite a few years but have always had one problem, probably due to the way I am recording TV. I use a Hauppauge 150 Analog card, UIRT Blaster and S-Video output from my cable box to the card's S-Video input. I record off of the HD channels mostly, so I get 16:9 video in a 4:3 window with gray bars top and bottom. The video is top quality SD and is relatively small file size. It would be perfect but for the gray bars on the top and bottom. Is there a way to setup Showsqueeze to crop these bars out of the squeezed video?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Donn |

Re: Showsqueeze and crop 4:3 to 16:9
I also tried to do this several times, but without succes.
I fill in the destination dimensions with a 16:9 aspect ratio, but the showsqueezed file still has a 4:3 aspect ratio. Does anyone has a clear solution? w. |
