By golly, you're right. Thank you so much for this tip. Historically I have not used 3D acceleration for performance reasons and because I generally don't like transparent objects like we see in BTV 3D mode. But nowadays we have enough video hardware performance that it's not a big deal anymore, and I can get over my dislike of transparency if it fixes this problem.

btw... I have tried about half dozen different decoders (Cyberlink, ArcSoft, Sonic, Microsoft, etc) and they all exhibit the video problem in overlay mode with the recent nVidia driver releases. I'm still thinking SnapStream and nVidia need to work out this overlay problem.

BTV has known issues with 3D and HD video. It gives a warning when you go to play a HD video while in 3D.

I don't have any issues with 3D while playing HD content, but I have jitters when panning left/right during SD video.

You would think with my hardware (8600GT) that I would not have any problems with 3D.

I am using nVidia driver version 182.08.
