Windows Media Center and BTV

Does anyone know how I would set up my computer to use both WMC and BTV? The two are incompatible using the same tuner card so I assume that I would need two cards for this to work. Any ideas?

Re: Windows Media Center and BTV

I have done this, at least for a short time, and it did work. For me it was in part because I have two HDHomeRun dual-QAM tuner boxes that support tuner sharing. So arbitrarily, either application could have up to four tuners, or be forced to share what was available. With more traditional PCI or USB tuners, I'm not sure it would work cleanly. So, yes, you'd need at least two tuners.

Now for the really big question - why? BTV and MC are both capable and essentially functionally interchangeable. Why do you want both?

Bye.

Easy answer, I have had BTV from almost the beginning. I also have orb on my computer and really never used it that much. I just downloaded the orb app for my iphone so I now want to use Orb as well. Orb works with Windows Media not with BTV. Therefore, I would want to use Orb on my iphone and BTV on my computer.
