Serial connection for AT&T Uverse VIP 1200?

Hey there,

I am running BTV 4.8.1 and have AT&T uverse. I run a null-modem cable to an IOGEAR (recommended here) serial-usb converter into the back of the Motorola VIP 1200. I can't get the Firefly Mini to change the channel on the STB propersly.

I am not sure the .rmt file that is bundled with BTV 4.8.1 is correct and was wondering if anyone else has this service and has gotten it to work with Serial connection?

I did a search and didn't come up with much.

Thanks in advance

Dobie
