Adding a second TV tuner card
I am currently running BTV 4.8.1 under Windows XP SP2 with a single Hauppauge HVR-1600 TV card on a 3Ghz Core 2 Duo processor with 2 Gig of memory. I would like to add a second TV card, possibly a Hauppauge HVR-1800. I assume with two cards, I'll be able to capture two analog and two digital streams simultaneously. Is that true? Does it matter that the two cards are different models? Would two of the same model cards work better? After the second card is installed, does BTV automatically configure for two cards or is it necessary to rerun the setup wizard or some other configuration steps. What does the Program Guide look like for two dual-tuner TV cards? Is there a document somewhere which describes how to set up multiple TV cards?

Re: Adding a second TV tuner card
You DO have to rerun the setup wizard to add the new tuners. The guide won't change at all. BTV just knows what it can record with more tuners so there will be fewer conflicts. I run a bunch of tuners.
