ATI TV Wonder (PCI) max resolution

So I bought the TV Wonder, and had horrible experiences using the included software with XP. The official drivers are crap, and finally I uninstalled both software & card.

A few questions before I buy 2.0 and wait anxiously for my 3.0 upgrade:

1.) What will my max capture resolution be using this card? Anyone know? Better than VHS, worse?

2.) I'm really interested in the mentioned version that will incorporate the software that allows output through the PS2 ethernet adapter -- will I be able to upgrade to that? Or will I be forced to buy a whole different version of the software -- Like XP Pro vs. XP "Media" edition...

3.) Finally, if I purchase Snapstream, what 3rd party drivers for my ATI TV Wonder would you folks recommend (being that ATI has all but abandoned supporting these tuner-only cards...)

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Re: ATI TV Wonder (PCI) max resolution

Manufacturer's specs would be of more use to you in divining the maximum resolution of the card you speak of. I know nothing of it.

No; there is only one PVS 3.0 full. The only manner in which PVS is compatible with Qcast is this: PVS 3.0 can create recordings of the file types Qcast claims it can play.

http://btwincap.sourceforge.net

Nearly everyone I've chatted with who has used these BTWINCAP drivers has reported much better performance than with the manufacturer's drivers. Note that they are only compatible with certain cards; however, I distinctly remember that they are compatible with the ATI TV Wonder.
